Dr. Chow Wai Tuck is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Nanyang Technological University's School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering. He joined NTU in 2017 and specializes in robotics, gas turbine technology, and structural analysis. With 20 years of aviation industry experience, he previously served in the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) as an engineering officer and later led structural analysis teams at Pratt & Whitney, focusing on jet engine components and manufacturing processes.
His research interests include lightweight robotic design via cable actuation, gas turbine structural integrity, and high-temperature die casting for engine parts. He has filed six patents in jet engine design and manufacturing technologies.
