Choi Jiyoung serves as a Lecturer in Korean Studies at the Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales (INALCO), a prestigious French institution specializing in languages and civilizations of the world.
Her research focuses on Korean linguistics with particular emphasis on syntax and semantics.
