Miss Chloe Rixon is a PhD candidate in Geography at the University of Cambridge, affiliated with the Infrastructural Geographies research group. Supervised by Prof. Matthew Gandy, her research explores the intersections of cinema, Holocaust memory, and deathscapes in Kraków, Poland. She holds an MPhil in Geographical Research and an MA in Geography (Double First Class) from Cambridge. Her work bridges Memory Studies, media studies, and landscape theory, employing a method called memory-work that combines archival research, ethnography, and activism. She collaborates with the Galicia Jewish Museum and the British Film Institute.
