Chloe Hayes

Chloe Hayes is an NIHR Pre-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN), King's College London, affiliated with the Department of Biostatistics & Health Informatics. She holds an MSc in Applied Statistical Modelling & Health Informatics and previously completed a BSc in Psychology (Loughborough University) with a placement in the Psychometrics & Measurement Lab. Her research focuses on psychometric methodology, statistical modelling in mental health, and studies on misophonia, autism spectrum disorder, and sensory processing conditions.

Her work emphasizes validation of psychological assessments across cultural contexts, including studies on the Positive and Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS-C) and Body Esteem Scale in Indonesian populations. She also investigates hyperacusis and tinnitus through factor analysis techniques. Teaching responsibilities include supporting the 'Introduction to Applied Statistical Methods' course.

Collaborations span international teams (e.g., Portugal, Indonesia) and interdisciplinary topics such as maternal-infant interaction dynamics and cross-cultural mental health measurement. Research outputs (16+ articles) highlight methodological rigor in psychometrics and clinical applications in behavioral health.
