Chloe Castle is a Researcher at the Multilingualism Research Centre and Sessional Teaching Academic at Macquarie School of Education, Macquarie University. She holds a PhD in Linguistics from The University of Adelaide with a thesis on language contact between English and Czech. Her research focuses on sociolinguistic aspects of multilingualism, grammatical borrowing, and heritage language maintenance.

Her work explores how multilingual speakers navigate grammatical systems across languages, with particular focus on Czech-English bilingual communities in Australia and expatriate communities in Prague.
Recent Work Trends: Recent publications examine grammatical replication in South Australian Czech communities and Czech borrowings among English speakers in Prague, highlighting sociolinguistic factors influencing language attrition and maintenance.
