Chinten James Lim

Chinten James Lim is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of British Columbia, affiliated with the Department of Pediatrics and BC Children's Hospital Research Institute. His research spans cancer progression and metastasis, medical and biomedical engineering, and pediatric oncology.

Dr. Lim’s lab investigates drug resistance mechanisms in hematological tumors (e.g., B-ALL) and solid cancers, focusing on integrin signaling pathways (e.g., RHAMM-TPX2-Aurora A interactions) and immunophenotype stability. He also explores innovative therapies for airway inflammation and fibroblast transplantation rejection.

His work is supported by collaborations with BC Children's Hospital BioBank, Interdisciplinary Oncology Program, and Sunny Hill Health Centre. He supervises graduate students in Cell and Developmental Biology and Women+ and Children's Health Sciences programs.
