Professor Chin-Tai Kim is a faculty member in the Department of Philosophy at Case Western Reserve University, holding the Beamer-Schneider Professorship in Ethics. He has served as department chair and previously taught as a visiting professor at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea. His research focuses on philosophical anthropology, foundations of knowledge/morality, objectivity in cognitive claims, and East-West comparative philosophy. Notable topics in his work include Plato, Descartes, Kant, Hegel, Taoism, and Confucianism.
