Chiara Nardon

Chiara Nardon is an Associate Professor at the Department of Biotechnology at the University of Verona. She specializes in Pharmaceutical Inorganic Chemistry and Radiochemistry, focusing on metal-based anticancer drugs and radiopharmaceutical agents.

• Graduated in Chemistry (2009) and earned a PhD in Molecular Sciences (2013) at the University of Padua.
• Established the Biomedical Chemistry Lab after her appointment as Associate Professor in 2022.

Her research spans Coordination Chemistry (designing Cu/Fe/Ru-based compounds), Radiopharmaceutical Development (using isotopes like 61Cu and 177Lu), and Supramolecular Drug Delivery Systems. She investigates metal roles in cancer stem cells and conducts in vitro and in vivo biological activity tests.

Current affiliations include leadership in the Chimica Biomedica research group and participation in the PRIN 2022 NESTOR project (new metal-based anticancer agents). Teaching roles cover General/Inorganic Chemistry and Physical Chemistry for Biotechnology and Pharmacy programs.
