Chi P. Ting

Chi P. Ting is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Brandeis University, leading the Ting Research Group. He holds a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BS from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His research focuses on organic synthesis and biosynthesis of natural products, particularly developing efficient total synthesis methods and exploring genome-mining approaches to discover novel secondary metabolites. Key areas include chemoselective peptide functionalization, RiPPs biosynthesis, and antibiotic development.
