Cheti Nicoletti is a Full Professor of Economics and Deputy Head of the Department of Economics for Research at the University of York. She co-leads the Applied Micro-Econometrics Research Cluster and holds affiliations with ISER (University of Essex), IZA, and CHILD-Collegio Carlo Alberto (Torino). Her work focuses on child development, education, gender economics, and social networks, with a particular emphasis on parental investments, mental health outcomes, and policy impacts. She has published extensively in journals like the Journal of Labor Economics and Journal of Applied Econometrics, and her research has been supported by the ESRC and Nuffield Foundation.
