Cheryl The

Cheryl The is a Professor in the Department of Education at Southwestern Adventist University. Originally from California, she brings over 27 years of elementary school teaching experience in California, Maryland, and Texas to her role in higher education. Since joining Southwestern Adventist University in 2010, she specializes in preparing educators for Texas certification.

Her expertise spans elementary education, literacy, and curriculum design. She focuses on equipping educators with skills in teaching English language learners, special education strategies, and early childhood programs.
