Cheryl Caffee

Cheryl Caffee is an Associate Professor of Nursing at Goshen College, where she has taught since 2014 following her transition from clinical leadership roles in Indiana healthcare systems.

Dr. Caffee's professional focus centers on oncology nursing and cancer survivorship, deeply informed by her personal experience with stage 4 melanoma since 2020. She integrates faith-based health perspectives and patient advocacy into nursing education, emphasizing melanoma prevention and holistic care approaches.

She actively shares her journey through speaking engagements including Bethany Christian Chapel and University of Kentucky Physical Therapy program panels, promoting awareness of cancer realities and medical advances.

Dr. Caffee serves as volunteer basketball coach at Bethany Christian Schools and participates in church ministry at Maple City Chapel, demonstrating commitment to community engagement and student mentorship beyond the classroom.
