Chen Long-Qing is the Donald W. Hamer Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University, USA, since 2015. His career spans over three decades, starting as an Assistant Instructor at Zhejiang University (1982–1983) and progressing through roles including Associate Department Head (2000–2002) and Distinguished Professor (2012–2015). He leads the Chen Group focusing on materials science innovations.
