Dr. Charlotte Russell is a Teaching Professor in the Department of Biology at Simmons University. Originally from England, she joined the US faculty in 2006 and became a US citizen in 2015.

- PhD in Molecular Medicine (University of Manchester)
- BMedSci in Cell and Molecular Pathology (University of Birmingham)
Research focuses on anatomy, physiology, and reproductive biology. Current projects investigate long-term effects of hormonal gender transition therapies. Authored textbook '101 Case Studies for Anatomy and Physiology' and developing new text on human reproductive biology.
