Charlotte Rosenbach

Charlotte Rosenbach is a Professor in the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy at Freie Universität Berlin's Department of Education and Psychology. She currently serves as a researcher on the externally funded BMBF project "ProChild," which evaluates a group-based parenting intervention program for mothers with borderline personality disorder (BPD).

Her research centers on borderline personality disorder with specialized focus on parenting challenges, emotional regulation deficits, and social cognition impairments in affected individuals. She investigates rejection sensitivity mechanisms and develops clinical interventions targeting mentalization and parenting competencies. Her work bridges diagnostic systems (particularly ICD-11), prevention strategies, and health promotion frameworks within clinical-psychological intervention research.

Analysis of her 2020-2025 publications reveals dominant themes in BPD parenting interventions, including development of the "Borderline and Motherhood" training manual, parental mentalizing dynamics, and ICD-11 diagnostic implementation.
