Charlotte E. Howell is an Associate Professor and Director of the Film and Television Studies Program at Boston University. Her research focuses on television studies, media industry studies, genre studies, and fan studies, with additional interests in religion and media as well as sports media. She has presented at major conferences such as the Flow Conference, Society for Cinema and Media Studies, and Console-ing Passions.
