Dr. Charlotte Cease is an Assistant Professor of Psychological Science at Kennesaw State University. Her research focuses on dark personality constructs such as sadism, psychopathy, narcissism, and the development of personality assessments. She holds a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from the University of Alabama and has authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications.
Research Interests
Dr. Cease examines subjective logic, distinctions between personality constructs, and the measurement of antagonistic traits. Her work explores sadism's role in social signaling, narcissism's impact on aggression under ego threat, and the nuances between everyday and sexual sadism.
