Charles Terry, M.D., MSCR is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy, and Sleep Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. His research develops pragmatic methods for identifying critical illness sub-phenotypes using clinical data analytics, focusing on ARDS and ventilator-dependent respiratory failure through machine learning and NLP approaches.
Dr. Terry leads MUSC's extracorporeal liver support program for acute liver failure patients and serves as director of Critical Care Grand Rounds. He actively trains fellows in pulmonary/critical care programs and contributes to MUSC's Telehealth Center of Excellence, developing educational modules for ARDS and sepsis management.
