Charles Pascal

Dr. Charles Pascal is a Professor of Human Development and Applied Psychology at OISE/University of Toronto. He serves as Senior Advisor to the Chagnon Foundation in Montreal and is a regular contributor to the Toronto Star. An international expert on early reading and literacy, he was appointed Special Advisor on Early Learning to the Ontario government in 2007 due to his expertise in education, training, policy development, and leadership.

He delivered the convocation address at Nipissing University's 2011 Schulich School of Education ceremony, emphasizing his commitment to educational excellence. His honorary Doctor of Education from Nipissing University (2011) recognizes his contributions to advancing education systems.
