Dr. Charles Parrott is an Associate Professor in the Department of Theatre & Performance Studies at Kennesaw State University (KSU). He teaches courses on performance studies, focusing on intersections between performance and culture, performance art, and literary performance. He directs the KSU Tellers storytelling troupe, which has performed at events such as the Atlanta Fringe Festival, Southern States Communication Association Conference, and DragonCon. His research interests include storytelling, performance pedagogy, performance ethnography, theatre history, and devised theatre.
Dr. Parrott's theatrical productions include Frankenstein’d and Bloody Pulp: Crisis in the American Comic Book, which he co-directed with Dr. Jim Davis.
