Charles P. Clark is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of History at the University of Alabama. He holds a PhD from the University of Alabama (2007). His research focuses on Military History and United States History, with particular interests in U.S. Military, U.S. Culture (music and food), and technological warfare in the 20th century.
Current projects include contributions to The Encyclopedia of Military Science (SAGE, projected 2012) and Music in American Life: An Encyclopedia (ABC-CLIO). He is also completing a book manuscript titled American Soldiers and Technological Warfare, 1917-1945.
Clark teaches courses such as Survey of Western Civilization since 1648, American History surveys, and specialized courses on World War I, World War II, and the Roosevelt era. His publications include co-editing editions of Sources of Western Society.
