Charles Henderson

Charles Henderson is a Distinguished Professor at Western Michigan University with joint appointments in Physics and the Mallinson Institute for Science Education. He directs the Mallinson Institute and co-leads the Center for Research on Instructional Change in Postsecondary Education. His research focuses on instructional change in STEM undergraduate education, supported by nearly $11M in grants. As senior editor of Physical Review Physics Education Research, he has served on National Academy committees and received honors including Fulbright Scholarship and APS Fellowship.

Research Interests: Physics education, systemic change in higher education, discipline-based education research.
