Professor Sir Charles Godfray FRS is Professor of Population Biology and Director of the Oxford Martin School at the University of Oxford. He holds additional roles as Senior Visiting Researcher and Trustee of multiple scientific institutions including the UK Centre for Ecology and Hydrology.
His research integrates ecology, evolution, and epidemiology to address global challenges in food security, disease control, and environmental sustainability. Key initiatives include directing the Wellcome-funded LEAP project and developing genetic interventions for malaria vector control through Target Malaria consortium.
