Charles E. McCulloch, PhD, is a Professor and Division Head of Biostatistics in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine. Before joining UCSF, he served at Cornell University for 18 years, including as Professor and founding Chair of the Department of Statistical Science. He co-authored three textbooks and authored the Institute of Mathematical Statistics monograph Generalized Linear Mixed Models.
