Charles Darkoh is a Professor and holder of the R. Palmer Beasley, M.D. & Lu-Yu Hwang, M.D. Chair in Epidemiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston), School of Public Health. His research focuses on the epidemiology, pathogenesis, and molecular basis of enteric infectious diseases, with an emphasis on identifying novel bacterial virulence factors and microbial products for diagnostics and therapeutics.
