Charles (Chuck) Black is a Senior Scientist and Deputy Associate Laboratory Director for the Energy and Photon Sciences Directorate at Brookhaven National Laboratory. He leads the Center for Functional Nanomaterials (CFN) and directs the DOE-funded NSRC Recapitalization Project to modernize U.S. nanoscience infrastructure.
