Charles Anthony Sanchez

Charles Anthony Sanchez is a Research Professor at the University of Arizona, affiliated with the Maricopa Agricultural Center located at 37860 W Smith Enke Road, Maricopa, AZ 85138. He holds a PhD in Soil Fertility and Chemistry from Iowa State University. His primary research focuses on plant nutrient utilization, soil and water management strategies, salinity dynamics, and the environmental fate of agricultural chemicals and toxins.

As a member of the Arid & Semi-Arid Agriculture faculty, he specializes in extension and outreach programs related to soil and land management. His work addresses critical issues in sustainable agriculture under arid conditions, including optimizing nutrient use efficiency and mitigating soil degradation.
