Charis Rice

Charis Rice is an Associate Professor at Coventry University's Centre for Trust, Peace and Social Relations. She holds a PhD in Government Communication from Ulster University and has extensive experience in academia and consultancy. Her research focuses on political communication, trust dynamics in divided societies, security strategies, and organizational behavior in high-security environments.

Key research interests include counter-terrorism communication, public trust in institutions, and the role of media in post-conflict societies. She has led major projects such as the IMITATE3 initiative on information threats and the Situational Threat And Response Signals (STARS) framework. Her work bridges academic research with practical applications in governance and security.
