Charis Mesaritakis

Dr. Charis Mesaritakis is a post-doctoral researcher at the Photonics Technology Laboratory within the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Informatics & Microelectronics, respectively, and earned his Ph.D. in 2011 for work on quantum dot mode-locked lasers.

• Research Focus: Quantum dot semiconductor laser dynamics, single-photon emitters, optical sensors, and micro-ring resonators.
• Publications: Authored/co-authored 17+ papers in high-impact journals and contributed a book chapter on quantum dot lasers in Springer publications.
