Chantal Perera

Chantal Perera is a Lecturer in Paramedicine at the University of the Sunshine Coast's School of Health. With a clinical background as an Advanced Life Support Paramedic with Ambulance Victoria, she develops educational programs focused on injury management and clinical practicums. Her international work includes capacity-building with Nepal Ambulance Service as an Australian Youth Ambassador for Development.

Educational Leadership: Coordinates year-level programs and develops international placement opportunities to enhance undergraduate experience. Previously served as Acting Course Coordinator at Monash University.

Research Focus: Investigates disaster response in resource-limited settings, resilience in healthcare professionals, and interprofessional learning models for paramedic training.
