Chantal Hendriksen is a lecturer in Graphic Design at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague (KABK). Based in Amsterdam, she runs her own graphic design studio, focusing on conceptual and experimental approaches through collaborations with art institutions, museums, galleries, and artists.
Her work emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration and challenging the autonomy of graphic design. She teaches in the Bachelor Graphic Design program, guiding students through the elective course 'Design Office', supervising internships, and leading the Professional Practice Skills course.
Her research interests center on integrating graphic design with contemporary art practices, fostering real-world project-based learning, and exploring experimental methodologies in visual communication.
