Chandra D.L. Waring is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, affiliated with the College of Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. Her work focuses on bi/multiracial Americans, examining racial capital, white privilege dynamics, and intersections of race/gender. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Connecticut (2013), with a dissertation on racial capital among Black/White biracial Americans.
