Chad Howland is an Assistant Professor at the School of Physical Therapy within the College of Health at Husson University. He holds a Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy (DSc) from Andrews University and a transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Dr. Howland is certified as a Spinal Manipulative Therapist (SMT) and a Certified Manual Physical Therapist (CMPT). With over 15 years of clinical experience in musculoskeletal and orthopedic rehabilitation, he teaches gross anatomy and musculoskeletal rehabilitation at Husson and oversees the Dahl Anatomy Laboratory.
His research focuses on educational practices in anatomy, musculoskeletal rehabilitation methodologies, and professional behaviors in clinical settings. He is actively involved in advancing educational strategies within physical therapy and anatomical sciences.
