Cesare Pautasso is a Full Professor at the Software Institute within the Faculty of Informatics at the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) in Lugano, Switzerland. His research focuses on software composition techniques, Web 2.0 mashups, cloud computing, business process management, and RESTful API design. He has led projects like JOpera, a service composition tool, and contributed to frameworks such as Liquid Software for adaptive distributed systems.
Education: PhD in Computer Science from ETH Zurich (2004) and a Computer Science Engineering Degree (cum laude) from Politecnico di Milano (2000).
