Prof Ceri Brown is a Professor in the Department of Education at the University of Bath, with affiliations to the Milner Centre for Evolution and Centre for Qualitative Research. Her work centers on educational policy, child wellbeing, and the impact of poverty on schooling experiences.
- Research Interests: Educational Policy, Child Wellbeing, Social Capital, Identity Construction, Mental Health Promotion, Poverty and Education, Qualitative Research.
Key Publications include Connected Belonging (2025), Space, Identity and Education (2023), and Five Mechanisms for Tackling the Risks to NEEThood (2022). Her research spans UK, Spain, and international contexts, with a focus on policy analysis and social-emotional outcomes.
Projects include the Bath NIHR Mental Health Research Group and ESRC IAA - Connected Belonging pilot. She collaborates with institutions across Europe and contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly ending poverty and ensuring mental health.
