Cendri Hutcherson

Cendri Hutcherson is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto and holds the Canada Research Chair in Decision Neuroscience. She leads the Decision Neuroscience Laboratory, focusing on computational and neural models of decision-making and self-control. Her research integrates Perception, Cognition, Cognitive Neuroscience, and Social and Personality Psychology.

• Education: B.A. from Harvard University, PhD from Stanford University, and post-doctoral training in neuroeconomics at California Institute of Technology.

Research Trends: Her recent publications highlight interdisciplinary approaches combining Neuroeconomics, Computational Modeling, and Health Psychology, with methods like fMRI and EEG to study cortical gradients, emotion valuation, and decision-making mechanisms.
