Celia Campbell is an Assistant Professor of Classics at Emory University. She specializes in the Latin verse tradition, with a focus on the late Republic and early Empire periods. Her research includes work on Ovid's Metamorphoses, Senecan tragedy, and Virgilian pseudepigrapha. Prior to her current role, she held positions at institutions including Trinity College, Oxford, NYU, Fordham, UVa, and FSU. She completed her DPhil at Trinity College, Oxford and served as Interim Head of Classics at St Anne's College, Oxford. Her current book project centers on Ovid's Metamorphoses.
