Cecelia Cutler

Cecelia Cutler is Professor of Linguistics at Lehman College and the Graduate Center of CUNY, where she serves as Executive Officer of the PhD/MA Program in Linguistics. She is a Senior Editor for the Oxford Research Encyclopedia of Linguistics and Co-Director of the Language and Society course at the Inter-University Centre in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

Her research focuses on language and identity, language in digital media, and language attitudes and ideologies. She is currently co-PI on an NSF grant for the 'Corpus of New York City English' project.

Professor Cutler's publications explore multilingual practices in digital environments and emerging forms of digital communication.
