CeCe Wire is an Adjunct Professor in Metals at the School of Art and Design, College of Performing and Visual Arts, University of Northern Colorado. She holds an MFA in Metalsmithing & Jewelry from Colorado State University (1995) and a BFA in Metalsmithing with a minor in Fiber Arts from Kutztown University (1987).

Her publications include books and chapters on metal clay methods and jewelry design. Her workshops have reached international audiences in Spain, Japan, and Italy.
Notable awards include the Best Professor in Performing and Visual Arts at UNC (2012) and the Adjunct Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching at Aims Community College (1997). She has contributed to PMC Guild education standards through certification programs.
