Cauê Dobbin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Georgetown University. His research focuses on inequality and the economics of education, with a particular emphasis on policy analysis in higher education, labor markets, and development economics. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University (2015-2022), an M.A. from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (2013-2015), and a B.A. from Universidade de Brasília (2010-2012).
His work explores topics such as the impact of financial aid on tuition pricing, affirmative action policies, intergenerational mobility, and the effects of online education.
