Cathy d’Abreu

Cathy d’Abreu is a Senior Lecturer in Education for Sustainability at Oxford Brookes Business School. She chairs SEEd (Sustainability and Environmental Education) and co-chairs Our Shared World, focusing on embedding SDG 4.7 in education. Her research explores hope-based transformative pedagogy, emotions in sustainability education, and reframing cultural narratives for systemic change. She co-developed the Hope Wheel model, piloted globally in projects like the Our World Our Futures initiative.
