Cathy Lembke

Cathy Lembke is an Adjunct Lecturer at Southern Cross University's Faculty of Education, where she has worked for nearly 19 years. Her roles include teaching in Professional Experience units and serving as Acting Director of Professional Experience.

Her research focuses on the cultural competence of pre-service teachers and the design of international immersion programs for teacher education. She actively engages with schools across Australia and internationally, fostering community connections.

Cathy supervises Honours and Masters-level students and teaches final-year students completing their Teacher Performance Assessment (TPA) during professional experience placements. Her work emphasizes practical training and intercultural preparedness in teacher development.

She maintains professional affiliations with Southern Cross University and contributes to graduate school initiatives, supporting research higher degree opportunities for students.
