Catholijn M. Jonker is a Full Professor of Interactive Intelligence at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science (EEMCS) of Delft University of Technology since 2006. She previously held full professor positions at Radboud University Nijmegen and associate/assistant professor roles at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
Her research focuses on cognitive processes and agent dynamics, with key interests in trust, negotiation, teamwork, and decision support systems. She leads interdisciplinary research bridging human and artificial intelligence, particularly through the NWO-STW VICI project 'Pocket Negotiator' (2007-2013).
