Associate Professor Catherine Storey OAM is an Honorary Fellow and Associate Professor at the University of Sydney's Sydney Medical School and Northern Clinical School. She holds roles as Managing Curator of the Medical School Museum, Honorary Archivist at Royal North Shore Hospital, and leads archival initiatives. Her career spans clinical neurology, stroke unit leadership (1997–2019), and extensive contributions to medical history preservation.
She graduated from the University of Sydney in 1972 and earned a Master of Science in History and Philosophy of Science (2001). Notable achievements include curating the Sydney Medical School's permanent historical displays (2016) and organizing archival collections for researchers.
Research interests focus on the history of medicine, neurology, and medical humanities. Awards include the Medal of the Order of Australia (2011) and the University's Honorary Fellowship (2022). She actively supports medical education through student mentorship and Rare Books Collection stewardship at Fisher Library.
