Catherine Loveday is a Professor of Neuropsychology at the University of Westminster, specializing in autobiographical memory, neuropsychology of ageing, and the psychology of music. Her research examines how memories shape identity and how musical memories support selfhood in older adults.
She collaborates with people experiencing memory loss and conducts interdisciplinary work examining the lived experience of amnesia. Current projects investigate the relationship between music memory, emotional states, and social functioning across the lifespan.
