Catherine Kula

Catherine Kula is an Assistant Professor of Composition and Assistant Director of the Writing Center at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, where she has taught since August 2010. She specializes in composition instruction across disciplines, from first-year writing to senior capstone projects, and advocates for one-on-one student learning in writing center consultations.

Catherine’s research and professional interests include first-year composition, academic writing, writing center pedagogy, and interdisciplinary communication. She also works part-time at the Dresser Rand Challenger Learning Center in Allegany, NY, complementing her educational outreach efforts.
