Dr. Catherine Grandorff is a Teaching Professor in the Department of English at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs' College of Letters, Arts & Sciences, where she also serves as Assistant Director of the First-Year Rhetoric & Writing Program. She holds a PhD in Educational Leadership, Research and Policy from UCCS, an MA in Rhetoric and Linguistics with Creative Writing emphasis, and a BA in Spanish Literature and English Language from South Dakota State University.
Her research explores the interdisciplinary connections between gender studies, power dynamics, and linguistic analysis, with applications in both academic writing and creative contexts. She maintains active teaching engagement across the writing curriculum:
