Catherine Ellis

Catherine Ellis is a Research Fellow at Northumbria University, specializing in infant health and parental decision-making. Her work focuses on sudden unexpected death in infancy (SUDI)/SIDS prevention, qualitative research, and improving safer sleep practices through evidence-based interventions.

Dr. Ellis holds a PhD in Medical Science (2020) and extensive nursing qualifications including Registered General Nurse (RGN) since 1986 and Registered Midwife (RM) since 1988.
