Catherine Edwards

Catherine Edwards serves as an Associate Professor and Undergraduate Coordinator for Traditional and RN-BSN Programs at Eastern Kentucky University.

Her educational qualifications include:

• DNP from University of Kentucky
• MSN from Eastern Kentucky University
• BSN from Eastern Kentucky University

Her research focuses on Critical Care, Adult Health, End-of-Life Care/Hospice, and Student Engagement, with particular emphasis on improving nursing education methodologies and patient care protocols in high-acuity settings. She integrates clinical expertise with pedagogical innovation to address complex challenges in healthcare delivery and nursing education.

As Undergraduate Coordinator, she oversees academic progression, curriculum implementation, and program administration for Traditional and RN-BSN nursing students, ensuring alignment with accreditation standards and professional competencies.
