Catherine Chang is a Professor at Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development, where she coordinates the Chi Sigma Iota: Chi Epsilon Chapter. She holds a Ph.D. in Counseling and Counselor Education from UNC Greensboro (1998), an M.Ed. in Counseling and Educational Development from UNC Greensboro (1995), and a B.A. in Psychology from Davidson College (1991).
Her research focuses on multicultural counseling competence, social and professional advocacy, leadership development, and counseling implications for Asian American and Korean American clients. She has published extensively on social justice, privilege, oppression, and multicultural issues in counseling.
